"I read reviews, looked at photos of previous visitors and noted for myself as a worthy place. Perhaps lunch and dinner here are worthy of your attention and deserve praise, but breakfast is not their forte. More precisely, a European breakfast. Perhaps, as a desire to taste the local cuisine, it will do, but the desire is somehow strange. Today we decided to have breakfast: my husband didn’t eat the worst American breakfast, for sure: 2 toasts, but very fatty, ham that tried to fry, and an egg ... it didn’t look very good, it also tasted so-so. The omelet was not too bad, but I would refuse to call it even average: fatty, tough, salty in places. The most edible thing was cocoa in the morning."

"Juni 2019 unfortunately there is a change in management that will most likely lead to a closure. urban picnic is like someone managed to teleport a cozy vegan coffee from berlin, amsterdam or london to this small town petrich, near the Greek border. not only the only vegan option in petrich, but also in the entire South-Western part of the country. if they leave sofia in direction Greece, there is only no other place to offer them vegan burger, basmati rice, homemade hummus, etc. actually this seems to be the only vegan place from sofia to thessaloniki. By the way, urban picnic would be definitiw in the top 5 of the vegan / vegetarian places if it was in sofia and it would be personally my favorites. besides their daily menu they also make smoothies, sweets, they sell vegan chocolates. the place is guided by a young guy and his friend who are friendly and nice. they do their work with view of the smallest detail possible, including the recycling of the packaging. I really recommend it with both hands. I hope that urban picnic will be there for many, many years and may be expanding into other cities. updated from previous review to 2017-07-17"
