What Mags Hollingworth likes about The Black Friar Wine Cellar:
A very unique and quirky wine cellar in an unusual location underground in the Market Vaults. Serving lovely wines by the glass or bottle in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. I have visited several times now and would highly recommend as a place to chill out with friends. Check out the cheese platter as a nice compliment to a bottle of Merlot. View all feedback.

Really magical walking into a corridor we know well and finding it utterly transformed with consummate skill into a cosy bar with superb wines!!! Well done!!!!

"I tried this restaurant for Sunday lunch and I'd heard really good things before going. Safe to say I wasn't let down. The roast lamb dinner was delicious and a really good portion. Honestly the size on them Yorkshires is ridiculous! I then had the white turtle cheesecake which was so beautifully presented and tasted just as delicious. The staff were also really friend and just the right amount of attentive."
