We had a very satisfying meal. The pork looked heavy and thick but, was perfectly cooked and light. We also had the seafood pizza which turned out to be the best I ever had!! Yes, it's a little expensive. After you eat it, it no longer is. View all feedback.
What Mohammad Grimes doesn't like about Pier One:
Tacky 90's decor. We tried to book before 8pm and we were told they were booked out. We go there right on 8 there were three, maybe four tables with diners. Our table was at the back as far away as possible from the water view. The service was nothing short of hideous. They took forever to bring wine and food menus, and with next to no diners, took a further amount of forever to bring the drinks. The waitress asked u... View all feedback.
Such a fantastic place to dine! The restaurant supervisor Shaun made room for us on a busy night without a booking, and provided us with brilliant care. The service staff were knowledgable, fast and thorough. I highly recommend the Chianti, we were thrilled with the quality of the wine. The entrees were mouth-watering and very high grade, the mains delicious and finely tuned. The desert was the perfect end to a fabulous meal at Pier One. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, we were so impressed with every part of our experience.
Lunch for a largish group that today celebrates my mother's birthday, pier one is a fantastic location and location for a relaxing event, unfortunately, in most areas, the service and eating do not fit the venue. Although the drink menu is extensive and reasonable price every thing different felt a bit “through the movements” there were some confusion about the orders and there was a quite long waiting time to come to the meals that could best be described just as averaged with a few meal times than terrible gluten free pizza and meeresfruit chowder above all) one of the commanders had been clearly forgotten and the drinks had to
Very causal place..i was actually shocked. all reviews were good...**** bright. the tables are made of perspex plastic. they mixed the sparkling water bottle with star water. shockingly shocking. but customer service was good. Food less than average.not far from fish and chips places.
Friendly in front of home staff with fast service. the Whisky-Crème-Brulee was amazing, beautiful taste combinations of sweet with a light tang from the orange marmelade sorbet (repeater gaumen cleaner) filled between the Gooey chocolate. in any case recommend. beautiful dessert to share.
We were a table of 3 and there were only 2 other tables in the night, but it was a middle week stay. had the blue eyes trevalla, which was the fish of the day, with a crab raid and it was delicious. the fish was beautifully boiled with a crispy skin and the crab Slav was very fresh. kellnerin (amber) was charming and attentive. we all enjoyed it. visited 29/6/16.
