We stayed at a cottage only a mile from this restaurant, and had read the Doc Ford books, so went out of curiosity. Food was terrific, and we ended up going there three times in our one-week stay. We go to Ft Myers/Sanibel a couple of times a year, and plan on going back for the shrimp and cocktails every trip. View all feedback.

"Great atmosphere! Easily sat a party of seven. Prompt and friendly server. Incredible view. Lots of great drinks and great variety of menu. Shrimp and grits and Panko grouper were fabulous. Macadamia crusted group delicious and I loved the coconut rice melody. Clam chowder was incredible. Place can accommodate lots of guest. Parking is okay. Bathrooms located outside. Live music, retail, gift cards and good times to be had."

"This place was terrible, the first thing was the chips were burnt and super hard and broken into small pieces , should have left then. The food arrived, mine plate was huge but hardly any rice or refried beans , the rice was fine but refried beans were absolutely the worse I ever tasted , the actual chimi was weirdest , hardest and tasteless one I have ever had , no sour cream or other flavorings you normally get. My friend both got there meals , totally burnt to crisp they said it was worse Mexican food they had ever had and I must agree , did I mention I have sick throwing all night and horrible heartburn . I did see other customers who ordered same food and looked good , but after this experience I couldn't never eat there again"
