"On a forest-enclosed location like the one of “Prieselbauer” you can expect very basic restaurants that offer only a small selection of dishes. “Prieselbauer” does not fall into this category. it shares with restaurants of this type only the rustic appearance of a former farmhouse,...but is much bigger. its area distributed over several rooms is spacious and its terrace also quite large. the menu was comprehensive and meat-heavy with a focus on farms as well as regional cuisine and included some specificities such as spare tires. the prices were slightly higher than in the nearby towns in the valley, but on the other hand, the portion sizes ranged from large to large. the waiter of our table tended to be forgotten and became fresh when he remembered commands he had forgotten. that has not disturbed us much because it was much more important for us that eating is in order, what was in the case, because it tasted. “Prieselbauer” turned out to be a complete, decent restaurant with children’s playground despite its remote location."

"Wenn 13 Leute Eisstockschießen gehen und die Mehrheit davon das allerste Mal braucht es erstens eine Eisbahn, zweiten das Verleihen von Stöcken und drittens gastronomische Betreuung. Kurzgesagt einen echten Dorfwirt. So wurden wir während der sportlichen Übung mit Bier, Schnaps, Tee und Krapfen betreut, anschließend verwöhnte uns Chefin Maria mit einem wirklich vorzüglichen Bauernschmaus aus der Küche. Das Fleisch fein, das Sauerkraut definitiv überdurchschnittlich, die Knödel auch ok. Die Haustorte nach Omas Rezept schmeckte genauso, wie man sich Omas Haustorte erträumt, auch ser Wunsch nach einer kleinen Käseplatte zum Abschluss konnte erfüllt werden. Für ein Landgasthaus auch keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Wir werden wohl auch mal im Sommer herkommen wenn man im Gastgarten sitzen kann!"
