"What a delicious and authentic Korean BBQ restaurant. Best Korean food experience, makes you truly feel like your in Korea. I'm originally from Wellington so me and my partner planned this whole trip just to come eat at Gaon. It was totally worth it but next time we will make a booking before hand. Although we didn't have a booking the staff and owner helped us get a table and service was amazing. One of the staff helped us with some grilling and taught us how to do it properly and that was super nice, all the staff were very hardworking and onto it. Owner had everything under control and kept an eye out for every detail. "Not often out for dinner however what a wonderful experience, atmosphere , service, efficiency, hospitality was fantastic. The food was amazing, great variety on offer, we shared prawns and enjoyed the fish and venison. A little gem in palmy north and strongly recommend the place. Thank you Ryan, Amy, Sam, Stu and Crystal for an enjoyable evening great team"
