We went with a Groupon and we weren't too convinced by the reviews we had read, but we went first thing in the morning, taking some advice and we hit it off. The dishes we chose were quite spicy, very tasty, well cooked and well presented. Good atmosphere, quiet and correct service. I recommend it View all feedback.
What Laure Waleffe doesn't like about El Jabali:
We went today (Feb 18) with Groupon. The place is very nice, the treatment is normal and the food is good. It is not to get excited but we have eaten well. The starters and desserts were the best, I was a little disappointed in the main course. With a bonus it's fine, otherwise I don't think it's worth the price they ask View all feedback.

Friendly treatment by the waiters, by one of the unfortunate owners, apparently going with a groupon voucher is not pleasant. Inside an oven as it lacks air conditioning and luckily we are no longer in August. The super uncomfortable chairs, we left with kidney pain. Very slow service, every 30 minutes the dishes were served, it took us 2 hours to get to the dessert. We will not repeat on this site. The food is good, really.

We went with a Groupon that cost €32, and the menu is rather average... The starters are good, although the volován is a volcano covered in a cheese sauce. Chef Ramsey would say someone vomited on his plate! On the other hand, both the duck and the beef tartare are good. But it is certainly not a menu valued at €64 as they say on Groupon. Finally I have to highlight that the place is very nice, a well-preserved old house and everything clean and tidy.
Yesterday I was at this restaurant, I went with a discount voucher, so the menu cost me €17 per person, supposedly 40% cheaper than if I had not gone with the discount voucher. A priori it seemed to me with this price the menu was cheap because it included (I put only what I chose): Chef 's Canape First course: warm goat cheese salad Second course: duck magret dessert Coffee Drink and bread. The starters consisted of a slice of sandwich bread cut into four triangles with a bit of pate and 4 olives The salad was a base of lettuce and 4 very small slices of bread with tomato and a slice of melted goat cheese. The confit was a baked duck leg with a small portion of potatoes We drank beer as soon as we arrived and then we ordered a half liter bottle for which they charged us €12. The cutlery was not very clean, we had to pass a napkin to remove some tarnish , eye was not dirty, if not, probably poorly dried. The place has charm but the service is slow, the food scarce, the manager too stiff and value for money, even with the discount it seemed very poor. The portions are small and considering a slice of sandwich bread as a starter seems like a joke to me. So my suggestion is that if you like old houses, go to satisfy your curiosity, the garden they have is beautiful, with a pergola and very nice corners. If your goal is to eat, as we usually do in Spain, I recommend other restaurants.
