Convienently located right off 101, with lots of indoor and outdoor seating available, also on a Saturday at noon. Burrata persimmon: together with the focaccia it?s a really good combination of sweet, salty and cheesy. Prosciutto pizza: It was a solid pizza, but nothing special. We arrived hoping to eat dinner here but were clearly profiled and told they had no room when there was plentiful space and others without reservations continued to be seated. We decided to place an order for take out anyway and continued to be treated poorly by staff- sneers and inaccurate estimates on food preparation and also no follow through on bringing us our food when it was ready. Wonderful food and service. Very cute terrace, the dog is friendly, they even offered to bring a water dish for the dog. All food is super fresh and amazing. Really unique flavor combinations that are fresh and really delicious. Really enjoyed the meatballs as an appetizer. The dough for the pizza is so delicious. The chocolate chip cookie for Dessert was very good.
Great Italian-style pizza with good crust and interesting toppings. The crust was less yeasty than I like and the toppings could have been a bit more flavorful, but this is a great place to grab pizza to go.
We had a late lunch after our hike in this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. We were so impressed by service, location, ambience and FOOD! I can't say enough about this hidden Jem! We're coming back! Thanks to our servers and their great setting (Cassie) so special for this visit.
After watching the food network exposure to Santa Barbara before my trip to the city, I had to stop in Bettina before I left home. It was very pleasant in this facility with the friendly staff and amazingly furnished both outdoors and indoors. I decided to eat inside and the pleasant architecture and seating were good for me. Now to reach the priorities, the food! I have to say, after browsing the menu it was difficult to make a decision because the Pizza selection ALL sound great, but once I had taken some time, I landed on the Maitake Mushroom Pizza, which both had a beautiful ring to it and tasted incredible. The pizza came out wonderfully as you can see from the photos, but it was the coronation of fresh mozzarella, basil and red onions and Maitake mushrooms paired with the incredible crust that it did for me. The crust cooked to perfection as well as the pizza and deserves its own award. I loved the thin sliced Maitake mushrooms that made the food of pizza, which is much more rewarding. I would recommend this to everyone who visits the Santa Barbara area!
Absolutely fantastic experience at Bettina, they were able to accommodate us in a side table when we unexpectedly had to add a party member. The drinks were all great, service was friendly and fast, and of course the pizza was fantastic. Meat lovers and spring pea with ‘nduja were the curtains!
