I must admit, I arrived too early to fully enjoy the ambience that the outdoor patio at this place has to offer. That said, I thought the Bacon, Egg Cheese sandwich I had, which was made with French Brie cheese and sourdough bread, was impressive. The staff is all friendly, and the location close to Stearns Wharf is ideal. Would visit again! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Goat Tree:
We had a reservation through Opentable but they did not honor it and were only letting in people who added there names to their paper list. Not sure why they would do that since we could see empty tables. View all feedback.
The women at the reception desk were less than helpful, they never let us know they had tables available, nor they apologized. The bread of the sandwich was burnt. We won't be coming back.
Nice little lunch spot on State Street. We had a nice salad, some Rose and a matcha latte. The salad was delicious and very fresh.
Sadly no cold brew, place was a little sleepy. I saw people wait to be seated for 5 minutes then give up.
We recently visited this cafe for breakfast and, unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. While we were seated immediately upon arrival, it took about 20 minutes for a waiter to take our order, which was frustrating. After placing our order, we had to wait another 20 minutes for the food to arrive. To add to the frustration, they messed up one of the items we requested for the baby, which led to further delays. The place was understaffed, hence the slow service. When the food finally arrived, it was very average, as was the coffee. We had high expectations, however the experience fell short. Overall, very disappointing.
