"This has been on my list for a long time. This restaurant doesn't take reservations and I read in reviews that the wait could be really long on the weekend, I didn't want to take the chance to drive all the way to Santa Clara and not be able to dine here. I finally get to get brunch here on a Friday when I didn't have to work. Even on a Friday, it was pretty packed close to noon and some customers had to wait. I came here with a friend and we ordered their popular dishes Chicken and Waffle, Buttermilk Pancakes and a side of house salad to feel healthy. The chicken and waffle was my favorite, I typically love to mix sweet and savory and this dish was able to hit the spot. The waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the fried chicken was perfectly crispy and had the right amount of seasoning. The maple syrup was just a cherry on top for this dish. The buttermilk pancake is definitely on the sweeter side, so the tartness from the berries pair well with the sweetness. House salad and coffee was just ok, nothing extraordinary. Overall, I had a good experience here but I do hope they open up for reservations in the future!"

"Rita's hits the spot when I'm craving Italian ice, but unfortunately, the only flavor I like is the mango ice. I've sampled several other flavors, but they all taste too artificial and are super sweet. The mango is the least sweet of the ones I've had. I always get a small gelati with mango ice and vanilla custard. The small is plenty!! I do like that there's custard under the ice as well as on top because the richness of the custard helps balance out the sweetness. They also serve pup cups at this location, which my dog enjoyed. Workers are helpful with letting you sample and constructing your order quickly. They have some indoor seating as well as a couple chairs outside. Definitely will be back when I need an Italian ice fix."

"Really awesome little spot with delicious dim sum and quick service. I had Shanghai soup dumplings, steamed pork buns and five spice marinated combination appetizer. Appetizer came out first and quickly and was nice and chilled and had great flavor. Dumplings and pork buns came out 10m later and piping hot."

"This is the second time I have ordered from here and while other Eriks cafes are perfectly lovely, I had issues both times. The bread, cheese and onions never came with my first order and then was stale for the second. The chili was dry both times and I did not receive any butter."
