"A real ‘insider’ gem where the locals eat all the good stuff Catalonië -or more specifically the Girona area- has to offer. We ate an amazing dish of smokey and buttery (cleared butter) coal grilled mussels and cockels, and also enjoyed some meat filled potatoes along with it. As a second we were doubting between a tomahawk and an 600g Iberico cut and we were very happy to have chosen the latter. What an amazing piece of meat! As a nice addition I can definitely recommend the green aspergus. The service was also very nice and kind. The wine was excellent for the price. Overall value vs price was also top notch. If you don’t need cotton napkin or a panaramic view, you and your tastebuds will be king of the hill at this place."

"We had lunch there. All very well. I recommend Its website says: Located in the commercial center of Santa Coloma de Farners, in a modernist building from 1823. The restaurant keeps the modernist essence but adapted to current times. At the head of the restaurant we find a chef who looks for the new trends in Catalan gastronomy, but without straying away from market and local cuisine. A MODERNIST HOUSE The Vent d'Aram consists of two floors, where these three dining rooms are located. The first two located on the ground floor, and the third located on the 1st floor. We also have a large terrace, which we open from spring until well into autumn."

"We visited Gourmet Farners for a 3 course meal and drinks. The food was excellent Japanese style and really good value at very reasonable prices. The food was cooked from fresh produce by the excellent chef Sylvestre...well worth a visit, very friendly and we will definitely be coming back!"

"When we visited it was busy with some of the tables outside reserved. They found us a small table inside, which was very acceptable as we had just turned up on spec. The atmosphere was lively as it is quite small and cosy and the food decent. I had the Entrecote, which was cooked as asked for and my wife had a few tapas which she enjoyed. It was more expensive than many of the other local restaurants we visited but we realised that would be the case when we were handed the menus. Worth a visit."
