"We have been there many times a d each time it reminds of ultimate tourist trap. It used to offer decent food. We ordered the signature dish, arroz con pato(duck with rice) another member of party ordered, cuy. The duck was horrible, over cooked it reminds me of beef jerky but tasteless, the cuy was much better but fatty, all in all the restaurant is going down. In Lima and the surrounding area there is so many fine restaurants you won't go out you way to get to this restaurant. The only redeeming quality is the wait staff was very accommodating."

"No solo tiene helados de lúcuma y de choco pecanas, además tiene el mejor pan artesanal de la Panamericana Sur. Mucho mejor que de sus vecinos ya que el es el original y más antiguo. Su pan chapla, rellenos de aceitunas, pollo o queso y el de chicharrón con camote frito, todos buenísimos."
