"Went to this restaurant invited by Fabio Pinto and Family and it was pretty amazing! The owner, Mrs Carla, presented us with several suggestions specifically prepared for the “Medieval Travel” included in the celebration of the famous “Medieval Fairs of Santa Maria da Feira”. After the traditional starters, cheese and presunto, we were served “Tibonada de Bacalhau” (Cod fish Tibonada), “Bife à Rei” (King’s Beef) and “Bochechas de Porco com Puré de Castanhas e Batata Doce” (Pork Cheeks, Chestnuts and Sweet Potato Purée). ALL the food was absolutely amazing, super tasty and cooked to perfection! The most surprising was the chestnut and sweet potato purée! Outstanding culinary expertise of the chef! The taste of the chestnut, the sweetness of the potatoes and a slight touch of cinnamon was as surprising as it was super tasty!! For dessert we got “Pecado das Freiras” (Nuns Sin) and “Crepe com Comporás Medievais” (Crepes with Medieval Jams). What a way to finish a dinner with the involvement history and culture of these days!! Service was nice and professional, always with a smile! HIGHLY recommend!!"
