"We stayed here 2 nights in July of 2022. The location and the views were the best part of our stay-truly magical. The room itself was decorated with cheap, mostly gray, furniture which felt out of place and like a big missed opportunity in such a beautiful, old place. It was also not properly cleaned: we found hairs in the bathroom and a used face mask in the closet drawer. The breakfast in the morning was terrible, to be honest. It was included in the price but we skipped it the second morning. We ate dinner at the restaurant twice (once during their regular hours and once for a special wine tasting evening) and both times the food was disappointing, especially compared to what I am used to in Piemonte. The wines were lovely and the people friendly enough."

"A big disappointment, the new management... Before, we went to Régis and Paola , we always found a smile and human warmth there, in addition to good food... It was happiness! Now, not a smile, a frozen atmosphere, the food is always good but the welcome and the service really didn 't convince us... What a shame, in such a magnificent and charming place, an authentic grotto under the chestnut trees..."
