Absolutely delicious home-made pasta! The sauce selections are a bit eclectic, but both of ours were tasty, though my GF found the pomodoro spicier than she's used to, but, hey, we're in Mexico. The service is of course slow, but the restaurant comfortable to sit in. The complimentary bread was not Italian, just ordinary white bread, a tad disappointing. But the yummy pasta made it worthwhile! View all feedback.

Muy buena comida, si Saxon y presentacion excelentes. Cuenta con buen surtido en su menú. El servicio es lento, pero se entiende es un lugar pequeño y agradable

"I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. We found it by accident (look closely for the sign or you might miss it! After a very long day, we left El Armadillo feeling refreshed, treated, and nourished. We had the iced golden milk and the hibiscus lemonade while we waited for the lib koosa dip and the golden tajine. Everything was so fresh and perfectly seasoned and cooked. Though absolutely stuffed, we had to try the almond cookies for dessert and they were served still warm and beautifully plated. Heaven! Though I loved the local Mexican food, I really appreciated this fresh, change of cuisine while traveling. Plus the restaurant is slightly uphill and therefore away from the crowded main street. It is peaceful and quiet and has a lovely atmosphere to relax and enjoy your dinner. I would describe the atmosphere as elegant but very comfortable. The staff were friendly, the service warm and attentive. I felt very taken care of. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the environment they provide. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our dinner at El Armadillo so much, we went back for breakfast a couple of days later. Just wonderful. I’d give more than 5 stars if possible! Thank you to the team at El Armadillo, I can’t wait to dine with you again and see what future projects you create!"
