It feels like eating at your auntie's house who loves to cook and feed you. Its our go to place when we feel like eating our comfort food.
Chicharon bulaklak is a must. But my personal fave is the happy lulu rice, coz it brings back happy memories for me :) View all feedback.
What Jett Crooks doesn't like about Happy Lulu:
Everything we ordered came out pretty fast. Service was good, unfortunately utensils and plates need to be cleaned up. Food was good, but nothing special about the taste, typical Chinese food taste and the ingredients used was a bit low grade compare with other Chinese restaurants. View all feedback.
Loved their crispy shrimp, baby squid, pan fried squid, yang chow rice, beef brisket and sizzling oysters. A bit crowded tho. Affordable prices.
Been here a few times already and the food and price was just right. Not your typical chinese restaurant because of its modern and fusion style of cooking.
A typical Chinese restaurant located in residential places in Banawe.. The place is just small and simple and nothing special to talk about as compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. But what impressed me most is the unending flow of people coming in and out , at least during my lunch stay there . My sense is that they are leveraging on their super fast service and attentive staff which entices people to visit their place. The food is just ok and is reasonably priced. Ventilation is just right and parking is readily available just outside the restaurant.
Arrived for lunch at 1pm on a Friday. Parking was a breeze. Only two other tables of customers were being served when we got there. We ordered Grilled Squid, Halaan soup and the Sea Cucumber Tendon, plus rice. The Sea Cucumber Tendon was a winner. The Halaan soup was nothing special. The Grilled squid was tasty but rather tough to chew. It was a long leisurely lunch, with lots of waiting staff at hand. We'd go back to try other items on the menu.
