We came on restaurante el pinto by accident as we pulled off the road to let a car past and how lucky we did. Our host was so friendly bringing us Canarian treats to sample. The food was tasty, beautifully presented and portions huge. The chef was lovely and talented. The local wine was quaffable and it was my birthday. Could not have had better venue. We went here on recommendation and it fell short of the big build-up. Initially denied the downstairs seating, we were ushered upstairs to a completely empty room. When we said that we would leave, we were then offered seating down below. As the only diners there anyway, it hardly made a difference to them.
