"People, product place: the three P’s that are important to us in a business that we support. Santa Ynez Kitchen hits the mark in all three. From approaching the front door, to leaving at the end of our meal and every contact between is always excellent. They are professional while being friendly. If you have been there before, they probably remember what you like but always offer alternatives. Excellent staff throughout. Their product, food and drink, have always been excellent in taste and presentation. Something to please your palate and they are responsive to many food sensitivities. I am gluten sensitive and there is always several choices. And the place: very nice. Dine inside, on one of two patios or the covered and enclosed porch, it is always comfortable and pleasant. One of the best restaurants in the Santa Ynez Valley and Santa Barbara County. We have never been disappointed."

"Santa Ynez has some really good restaurants and this is yet another. In this area, it's not hard to find a good place to get a steak and this definitely fits the bill but that's not what makes it stand out. The service is outstanding! We had a relatively good sized group and our server, Matt, got everything right (including a pile of separate checks! The food arrived hot and in a timely manner. Even just walking around the restaurant, anytime I encountered one of the staff they were very friendly and warm. It is definitely one of the places that will be on my mind next time I want to go out to Santa Ynez for a bite to eat."

"Love their cozy indoor dining room. Service is spot on. Enjoyed the oysters to start and the wonderful fish dishes. The wine selection is lengthy and our waiter was happy to provide recommendations. I have dined outdoors here too and have enjoyed that too. The mealy was leis and proudly presented and most importantly fully enjoyed!"
