As its name suggests, this is right by cathedral and we are so glad we found it. We called in on our way out for the evening and then for a last drink as we enjoyed our first visit so much. It is a lively place bustling with locals which has got to be a good sign. What Grabybaby doesn't like about Cafe Catedral:
The previous reviewer was perhaps a little kind to this place. It is terrible and TWICE the normal prices in Santander! Yes it is in the tourist trap next to The Cathedral but €2.40 for a cafe con leche, normally €1.20. poor and tasteless food and we paid €11.50 for 2 coffees and toast when the norm anywhere else would be around €6.
