"Estuvimos con mi esposo de vacaciones en diciembre 2015 visitando varios sitios turísticos en Santander, entre ellos la población de Barbosa, llegamos para la hora del almuerzo y escogimos el restaurante Casa Montecarlo debido a las buenas criticas encontradas en Tripadvisor, después de la nefasta experiencia vivida en este restaurante creería que las opiniones que están publicadas, son realizadas por los familiares del dueño, debido a que nada de los que dice en esas opiniones es cierto, el primer lugar el sitio es una casa obscura, la comida bastante regular, pedimos unas carnes que honestamente sabían a todo menos a carne, la ensalada parecía que llevaba tres días hecha, y ni decir la cantidad de moscas que hay en ese lugar, uno no puede comer debido a que se la pasa espantando moscas, y para rematar los baños quedan prácticamente al lado de la cocina o parrilla donde el renombrado chef prepara sus carnes, que vaya uno a saber de que son....."
