Contribute FeedbackA group of 7 friends went to Ebisu for an promotional all you can eat buffet for S/. 45 each (roughly $15 at the time of the review) While it is a called a buffet that is not technically correct as they make each set of makis to order, they aren't sitting around in a cold table or steam table getting icky. It included regular makis, fried rice (with vegetables), gyoza (kind of like fried dumplings with either vegetable or chicken), and either Inca Kola or Coca Cola fountain drinks. The selection of maki was quite good in that there was at least 12 varieties on the menu that you could order from and all were quite tasty. Two members of our group have shellfish allergies, but we told the waiters, the chefs cleaned the knives and tables, and there was no problem. There were several types they could eat straight off the menu, but they were willing to substitute regular fish for the shrimp or crab as well. They come on planks of 6 and we could reorder when ever we finished. The gyoza were very tasty with a good sauce and we reordered those twice. Probably the least favorite was the fried rice. It had decent enough vegetables in it and was topped with the fried rice noodles. But it was kind of blah and too greasy, not quite crisp/toasted enough or not done on a hot enough pan. A couple of things to be aware of when you order the "All you can eat"--if you leave more than 60% of your rice, they will charge you S/. 3 ($1) for it. If you leave any maki, they charge S/. 1 (35¢) for each one, don't know about the gyoza as we quite finished all those off! Also while wasabi is included, the pink ginger is not so we paid S/. 5 ($1.60) for an nice sized bowl of it. Coke Zero and water (both with and without gas) are available in bottles but are not part of the All you can eat drink option, however we could substitute hot tea. They have a nice drinks menu and a good selection of beers.
Variety of dishes, good ingredients and quality service. The drinks list is very good too. They also have great desserts.
