You will find this place in the highland village of Santo da Serra, just adjacent to the weekend market square. Plenty of parking next to the building. They have a sister restaurant 100m to the north (same menu). We prefere "A Nossa Aldeia". Specialities are the large Madeira skewers with meat and portions of your choice. We first used this traditional Madeiran restaurant in 1999 and enjoyed it immensely. Been back many times since and had equally good experiences. Returned this year and was disappointed - felt they'd lost their way a little and didn't have the enthusiasm and service ethos that we had previously experienced.
