The service is impeccable and the staff are all locals of Santo Stefano and really put their heart into making sure that they deliver the dining experience of a long time ago! Well done everyone! Santo Stefano d'Aveto is an anomaly in Liguria. It's in the mountains and it tends to get cool in the summer. The food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. Just go down the mountain to Chiavari or Santa Margarita and you will pay almost 50% more. Undoubtedly. The food is rustic and when I was there we were elbow to elbow. But it was nice. Very nice.
