New place in town certainly has left its mark. French toast is superb as well as the peameal bacon. Lunch is reasonable and the liver and onions is the best in Sarnia. The soup, especially the navy bean is worth trying, all homemade. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sophia's Diner:
We WERE regulars to this restaurant because we enjoyed the food. BUT the staff can ignore you. 6-10 min before you get menu or coffee while others afterwards get coffee and their orders placed. All of us have decided to go elsewhere like Cromwell Grill, Harry's or Jimmy B's View all feedback.
Was often there. good eating at a reasonable price. friendly staff. prompt service. ground meal. not strange.
We haven't been here long and decided to have lunch before a few weeks ago. our server was beautiful and we also had a great chat with the owner. we had the fish chips that were surprisingly good and a...omelette both were very generous portions and good. that's the home kitchen. if they are looking for gourmet, this is not the place. we would definitely return.
Eating here recently was ok, service very good. space needs a little fastening, especially the ceiling tiles. many parking spaces are available.
Sophia 's is my favourite place to have breakfast in sarnia. her breakfast special is good and well cooked, with custom details such as poached eier, roggen toast and hash browns not hash whites. I have found the service to be pretty good.
Inexpensive, large portions, friendly staff always busy. Sr. menu has several good 3-course meals at the $12 range. Good liver bacon, roast beef sole dinners.
