"Came for dinner today along with my family with great expectations looking after reviews in Zomato. Ambience was good and the service was great. What let us down is the food. Being a South Indian, we were looking for some authentic south food with some good menu. We took set menu for vegetarian and to our shock. It even a single item in the menu felt sumptuous or good. Every recipe of the menu was just ordinary and there was nothing called authentic south food. Just running the mill menu and food. taj Tristar would be a better option compared to Dakshin. Disappointed"

"I visited it on 25th Dec, the place was crowded as Usual at peak time and was good. This was the 8th Or the 9th time i have visited coffee cup which includes both the branches, but had a very bad experience on 25th. It took around 20 mins to get the menu and another 10-15 mins calling the waiter to take the order. I called them for more than 5 times and finally one person came after 15 mins and took the order. Now the best part.. I did noticed the time taken by them to serve the food, the sandwich took 40 mins to be served and the main course took more then an hour. If you are very hungry I prefer not to visit this place, or be ready to wait for minimum of 40 mins before the food is served. I suggest to visit the old branch, I feel the service is much better there."
