"We had made a reservation. On arrival, we asked if the rye bread was 100% and were assured that it was. When it was served the colour of the bread did not seem right so, we asked again is it 100% rye whereupon the waiter checked with the baker who advised that NO, it was NOT 100%....This was the 2nd time this has happened to us regarding rye bread.This means that the staff are NOT au fait with their products.We sat at Table No. 1. On a previous visit I had mentioned to the manager that a dead mosquito was splattered on the wall, by the painting.I think it's part of the decor because the wall has not been cleaned yet..."

"What an absolute gem! Had a fantastic meal with the family. Food was amazing! All 3 meals looked and tasted absolutely Devine! Will most definitely recommend! Lamb curry was beautifully cooked, the snails were melt-in-mouth and the steak was perfection on a plate! Jean-Mari, the manager came to the table often to ensure we were happy. We were very impressed with the overall visit. Beautiful view from the terrace onto the wildlife park. Huge kids play area, away from the “big people” but where parents can still sit and keep an eye on the little ones. Fab fab fab experience, something quite rare in the Vaal."

"2019-05-23 This was our third visit. Great food and service to match. Expensive, but above average steaks. We went for their special. Sirloin steak and a side for R42, and with the quality of their steaks that is exceptional value for money. Highly recommended."
