I had breakfast here with some friends. The food was very good. The service was very good. The pastries looked very tasty and some were simply quite massive.

We're here twice. The first time we had coffee and cake. The second time we ate a sandwich. Both very nice.

Nice place to make a pause when it's raining like crazy! There were cakes too, but we didn't try them, tho they looked delicious.

"Wir wohnen in Sassnitz und gehen öfter frühstücken oder nach der Arbeit Kaffee trinken. Einfach, weil es das beste Café der Stadt ist. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Der Kuchen ist selbst gebacken. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich. Und der Besitzer des Cafe's sehr zuvorkommend. Wenn man in Sassnitz ist, muss man einfach mal dort gewesen sein."

"Matching time in this picturesque town on the S.Eastern bank of the island of Rugen, I used Google Maps to find this brightly painted upscale fish restaurant. It was in the afternoon and I was the only customer! The waiter spoke good English and was very helpful as I was fenced with a big suitcase and a backpack. Remarkable for a nice cool beer and ordered their fish and chips only to check it WAS broken fish. When it came, I looked around to see if someone had attached me to the table! It was easy enough for two!! Delicious though it was, I really couldn't manage everything. During my meal some other people arrived and it was pretty busy. Maybe Saturday is a late eating tradition on Rugen Island. The meal proved enough to deliver on the five pm ferry to Sweden! The restaurant is on the main street and I would definitely recommend."
