"Genuine food, cooked as it should be. A menu full of specialties from the German kitchen. They do serve vegan food — looks tasty, but we didn’t try it. We were there for the Eisbein. This dish is served exactly as it should be, with...Sauerkraut, pea mash and mustard. Friendly staff, custodians of the heritage of four generations as a family restaurant! Well worth the less than 15 minutes walk from Kröpeliner pedestrian street. If you don’t walk, it is just a few minutes from Doberaner Platz where many trams stop. It is probably smart to book a table, at least in weekends. Also check opening hours, closed Mondays for example."

"This place is highly recommended. The food, the atmosphere, the service and the price I can say that it is the best place I've ever been. The menu is creative and beautiful to meet the regional and seasonal ingredients. On Sunday there is also Brunch as an offer. We're definitely coming back."

"Thiswith place is a little hard to find. They cater to bigger groups or people who want an interesting experience. Its in a very dark cellar and its hard to see. You eat everything with your hands, so think about what you are going to have. Its a little diffucult to pick up sauerkraut with your hands. They serve a hard bread. so save some to help you with your meal. The food is ok. They do not take credit cards"
