"I went to this location with my friends. Very unwelcoming environment. Staff looks like they do not want to work at all. Took us 15 minutes to make her understand what we are trying to order. And then got drinks wrong. Great! Not going ever again. I will make my own at home."

We were so glad we did, as the dinner was delicious and the service excellent. We can highly recommend the Walker House. "From the outside, I didn't know what to expect. From previous reviews, it made sense to try our tastebuds at this restaurant. We were far from disappointed. Their cabbage rolls reminds me of my grandmothers' on both sides. They were fantastic - hearty and flavourful! We also tried the curry, I must say, delightful and not over salted/sugared like many places do to appease the North American palatte. In any case, we also got to learn a bit about the new owner's history of taking over a long standing venue, known by locals and passerbyers alike. I would certainly recommend this joint. Take a moment to enjoy a soup, sip some coffee and try their quiche. I am sure they won't disappoint!"
