"If this is the best in southwest ns, then I’d hate to think what the others are like. Imagine old fashioned British cooking and that’s what you get. Had the tiger shrimp(ok) served with overcooked carrots and frozen peas. Don’t know another place on the...planet that would serve seafood with peas and carrots. Still shaking my head about it. Reception at the door was like we were an inconvenience and the table service was not much better. Helpful hint- east at the shack outside- better food, friendlier service."

"Stopped for lunch, looking for a lighter meal. We chose to go with two Bacon Cheeseburger's and share a Large Order of Fries and Onion Rings. We each had a soda which is served as a can of soda. The meat in each of our hamburgers was very small, dry and overdone. The bacon was minimal. The cheese, lettuce and onion was as expected.Our waitress came over to our table and asked what we would like to drink. We ordered the sodas. When the waitress came back with the sodas, she asked for our orders. We indicated we were still checking the menu. She was visibly annoyed with this delay. NOTE: We were the only customers in the restaurant! She came back,in a couple of minutes and received our order at which time she asked what we would like on our hamburgers. When she delivered our order, I asked for the mustard container (The ketchup was already on the table). Her response was---didn't I already ask you what you wanted on your hamburger? She did get the mustard.Our experience with the waitress was a HUGE surprise! I guess she must have been having a bad day, so we won't judge this establishment on her attitude. Food wise, the food was Ok but not what we expected."

"The chowder was so good and the view was gorgeous but unfortunately the waitress had to clean with a very strong. CLeaner like Pinesol and it ruined our meal as the fumes permeated our chowder. Not good to use these chemical cleaners in 2017 and especially not when customers are eating."
