This tiny place by the water is a go if you're nearby and looking for a dessert. Sweets are delicious and good portion size. There are chairs outside and benches too. Only opens during the summer. View all feedback.
What Ryan doesn't like about Beavertails Sault Ste. Marie:
I'm a person of color, served this country's military for 8 years and a born and raised Canadian for 35 years. I was told to wait outside for my order while 3 white ladies were allowed to wait inside for theirs. Never in all my years have I been told to wait outside an establishment I paid to recieve food from. I'd never recommend this place to anyone with dignity. View all feedback.
I loved the beavertail I came here (can't remember the name but it was so good) but if someone wants a good sweet treat, please check out this place!
We've stopped trying bubbling for the first time. I went for cinnamon sugar with a lemon. It was perfect, fried, but not excessively oily, sweet, but not excessively so and crispy and satisfying. The price was a bit high for what you get, but I would return. The best part was the employee who was super friendly and enthusiastic.
My first experience with beaver tails and they were absolutely delicious.
I was super excited when I found a BeaverTails location here. Sadly, this one left me disappointed. They were incredibly slow, which isn’t the problem in itself, but they left the beaver tails sitting until they got cold and tougher to chew before they finished up the toppings and gave it to us. Many other locations would have the beaver tails in your hand still warm.
Pastry is okay but way too many toppings. It was basically a jar of Nutella with some Reese’s and peanut butter on top. The calories are deceiving because there’s no way that was 670calories when one tablespoon of Nutella is 90 calories. I don’t recommend or if you do ask for less toppings and share between 3-4 of you. Too sickly to eat whole
