This restaurant is absolutely charming, with a delightful owner. The cabins are beautifully decorated and clean, and each one has a wood-burning stove in case you want to cozy up by the fire. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Getaway Restaurant:
We walked here from our hotel as it was close by. The service was very friendly and efficient. My sister and brother in law had the roast beef special and loved it. My liver and onions was terrific - lots of sautéed onions, bacon and gravy. It was a nice stop for a quick, hardy meal. Nothing fancy but very satisfying. View all feedback.

The hotel gave us a discount coupon for the restaurant and free play. Unfortunately we used it. The casino was OK but the restaurant was really not too good. We ordered the pot roast and the meat loaf - two god old comfort foods but both lacked flavor. My wife did not want gravy so they served it on the side - very nice but the beef was just thin slices like you would get at an Arby's. No baked potatoes and the mashed potatoes were lukewarm, the mixed veggies were OK. The meat loaf have not real flavor. I ordered extra gravy but just got the standard spoonful. Again the mashed potatoes were not hot. Luckily I had my wife's gravy.I doubt we will come back here.
I went with a friend to this restaurant on a Thursday evening about 8pm. We were seated at the table closest to the kitchen and entrance to the restaurant, I requested a booth and was denied my request for the reason that the restaurant would be closing soon, it wasn't the servers section. Huh? This made no sense to me, but , my friend was hungry, so we acquiesed. We were there no longer than about 10 minutes and someone was seated at a booth. I inquired and complained and I was met with extreme "snark" from the host that had seated us. The supervisor was pleasant and agreed we should have been seated at a booth as we requested, but who would want to stay at this point. Never again.
My husband and I had a late supper here. The staff was slow to acknowledge that we were there even though several looked towards us - we had to wait to be seated according to the sign. Once seated our order was taken in a timely fashion. However the food took longer than I think it should have - at least to other casinos that we have eaten in. The food itself was not bad. I had one of their soups which was quite good along with a ham and cheese panini which was not bad. However the ham inside was cool and I did not like that. My husband had the liver and onions. He said the liver was good but his mashed potatoes were lumpy and the vegetables on the plate were horrible. The prices were reasonable. The casino has plenty of parking and the slot machines - friendly!
