We visited here 26 years ago and remembered the view and the drink. The view hasn't changed. We ordered a Croque Monsieur and a Goats Cheese Salad. The Salad won. The cheese toast was okay, nothing special. The chips were frozen extruded potatoes in a scoop profile. There were okay, but why not use real potatoes. The difference is worth it. What Siim Rüütli doesn't like about l'Orangeraie:
Since we were a rather large group, we had a fixed menu. I believe they tried to accommodate vegetarians and gluten-free diners, but they didn't ask everyone their preference. So I got stuck with a piece of meat that I found to be inedible. But I ate everything else on my plate, and it seemed to be fine. Other people didn't seem to be having a problem with the meat.
