"As always when you go to the Brewery you know the food and service are going to be great. Well our Christmas treat was no different and all 7 of our party, including 6&9 years old granddaughters, had a lovely evening. John and Steve are great hosts, terrific with the girls, and the rest of the team are just so welcoming with nothing too much trouble. Most of us chose from the special Christmas menu and enjoyed our meals, but special mention must go to the lobster sauce on the cod loin that was just delicious. With handshakes and hugs on departure along with some sweets for the girls it was a memorable night for us all. Thank you again guys and see you all soon."

"Had Sunday lunch here today with my family, every meal was cooked to perfection, piping hot food and all the meals came out at the same time. The roast beef was to die for and my wife’s steak was literally melt in your mouth, I’ve paid far higher prices than this elsewhere for food that simply does not even compare to the quality of yours. Fast and friendly service and would highly recommend. We will be visiting again. Thank you to all at the Royal Oak, you smashed it"

"Friendly entertaining service. Owner has a good taste in music wouldn’t let me ‘pollute’ my loose leaf tea with milk—fair enough. Excellent breakfast ‘sandwiches’ for lunch while I did some work. In fact, the descriptor of sandwich doesn’t do it justice. Found it by chance because usual Pembroke café haunt was closed. Next time I’m in the area I’m looking forward to visiting here again. Highly recommended."
