"We had lunch here today , and for about 22 euros it was absolutely excellent . A lovely terrace , and very pleasant service . I had the salmon and beetroot terrine to start , followed by hake with selfish , and then two of the most yummy grand mariner soufles.Others had Oysters and veal and reported themselves very pleased . All washed down with an excellent local Rose . All in all a very pleasant interlude on a hot day . Alas is a lovely little Bearn village which has madly just declared itself a principality - and put up custom posts ! All good fun - lovely church to visit - but the highlight was an excellent lunch ."

"I've come to the area for a long time and I eat in all local hostels and restaurants, and I strongly recommend legend. It's a real fresh air blow with young owners and boss. the menu is not large but beautifully simple, with a focus on very local and natural ingredients. There are also always fantastic vegetarian options. they transformed an old house into a beautiful space on several floors. I eat with them every time I come to the region and you should also!
