This is the second time we have visited, since we are not local to the area. The last time was years ago, and it was a place we remember as being really good. Our second visit did not disappointed, I ended up getting a burger but it was pretty good. I would say it was so good that my wife took a few bites (normally she will give it a quick courtesy test when I offer) and the next day she wanted to go back for lunch t... View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about 22 Square Restaurant Bar:
Birthday celebration with friends. The food was ok but certainly not memorable. Zero ambiance in this non descript dining space reminiscent of a school lunch table. A table cover of any sort would have been a nice touch. The live music (in the room away) was so loud we couldn’t hear one another at the table and asked if it could be lowered. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.
I’m not sure why this restaurant even offers dinner reservations. We were the only table there, and it was awkward. Even being the only table, the service was very slow. They had contacted me earlier in the day to confirm the reservation. I really wish at that time, they would have mentioned that dinner is something they don’t really do. Their website suggested otherwise, with a full menu. In person it was a totally different story.
I have never been so disappointed with the restaurant in downtown Savannah. I had made the reservation as an after birthday brunch for my daughter and her best friend and I. From the moment we got there, we were ignored by every member of the staff. They put us in a back dining room, and we were all alone. We never even got our waters after sitting there for 30 minutes. We were literally the only people in the restaurant, other than one small party eating out in the main area.

Easter Brunch at the Andaz Hotel. I had high hopes with expectations to match the price. Disappointment. It was a standard breakfast buffet eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast, quiche, fresh fruit. The only nod toward Easter was sliced ham and some donuts decorated in gaudy frosting. No dessert bar. Mimosas not included. Way too expensive for a spread that I could have found much cheaper in other places. I won't be back for Easter or any other holiday. Sorry.
Our server, Chris, was terrific! He made both of our dining experiences most enjoyable!
