Having lived in Asia for a long time, when I had the pho it reminded me of the pho in Vietnam. Whether it's wishful thinking or a real memory - whatever it is I'm going back. Visited on a Monday night. One woman running the entire restaurant including the kitchen which effectively meant terrible service and terrible food. The only sound breaking the awful silence was the constant buzz of the microwave out back.
