Our daughter gave us a gift card for our anniversary dinner at Sagano. We made reservation through Open Table with special mentioning of our anniversary celebration. The last time we were there was about 15 years ago and we liked it. We were rather surprised that the restaurant's decor read more.

Traditional courses are prepared in the kitchen of Sagano Japanese Restaurant in Scarborough with original Asian spices fine, and it's made with lots of fresh vegetables, fish and meat, easily digestible Japanese menus cooked. The delicious Sushi such as Maki and Sashimi however, is the undisputed highlight of this place, Furthermore, the customers love the inventive combination of different dishes with new and partially experimental products - a nice example of successful Asian Fusion.

For my experience, it's actually closer to 3 stars because of the hour long drive here, but otherwise, it's a really nice place.

Came here for new years eve and they had a special fixed menuI believe it was $44 for the 3 course meal.

"Mamajoun is a place I've wanted to try since they first opened. I finally got around to it!The place is part restaurant, offering Armenian pizzas and more, and part grocery store. Offerings include preserved meats and preserved fruits (jams) of all types.Our meal started with an order of Mante (beef dumplings). It was served in a tomato sauce with yogurt and spices. It was a great way to start our meal. Other choices included the Papajoun and the Armenian Pizza, both suggested by Mirhan and both delicious.The Papajoun was a flatbread pizza with ground beef, spices, and a red pepper paste. We added some hot peppers. It was folded and toasted, giving it a nice texture. Yummy!The Armenian Pizza was topped with soujouk (an Armenian sausage), beef, onions, tomato sauce, and cheese. The crust was good and the pizza was delicious!Their delicious food was very enjoyable! Thank you, Chef Mirhan!"
