What Harley Shaw doesn't like about Bonnet Sons:
Sadly we were left standing at the door for a very long time before being acknowledged and asked ‘in or out’. We opted to sit outside and again were ignored. No menus or information on what to do (order at the till or table service),...particularly disappointing with Left to go across the road to Le Jardin, much better service and made to feel welcomed. myself and my partner had a great coffee and small lunch here during the summer, food was good quality and well prepared, coffee was well made and the staff went above and beyond what you expect from a seaside cafe waitress. Really worth the few quid more this place costs over the other cafes. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant has a mixed reputation, with excellent food but poor service. Guests appreciated the Covid measures and quality of meals, but were put off by the hostile interactions with staff. Some described being ignored, shouted at, or given undercooked food. Others, however, had positive experiences, enjoying great coffee, good lunch options, and lovely surroundings. The choice between self-service and waiter service was appreciated, and the homemade chocolates were a bonus. Overall, the restaurant offers a variety of experiences, from disappointing to delightful, making it a place worth trying for those willing to take a chance.
