Reasonable prices, delicious Thai food located in a quirky train station setting. The staff was helpful and I enjoyed the spicy tofu dish, which was pleasantly satisfying. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kam Thai:
Dining at this restaurant for two was a disappointment. The atmosphere and decor were nice, but the food was bland and overpriced. I would have preferred to have fish and chips instead. View all feedback.
Our table was around 6.30 and the restaurant was moderately busy. we were in a series of Thai restaurants in different parts of the country and did not disappoint thai. a wide selection and prices appropriate; we chose the duck. jumping and chickensatistarter. these were brought quite fast, were hot and a good portion size. both were very delicious. my head was a Massiman-Curry and my man ordered the grilled huhn. reis etc. was an additional order, a. all were large portions and much taste. next to eating we had two bottled beer and two coffees. the bill came to £56 and we thought it was a good one. the free ton of brandy was an additional bonus. we would like to visit again.
How hard is it to cook rice? Can safely say the best part of this appalling takeaway was the crackers!! Never again
Restaurant ok and clean. Unfortunately the duck was like leather and we did complain. Reluctantly was taken off the bill but did spoil what was a birthday meal out. Others in our party enjoyed their food who didn’t have the duck, which again say was...dreadful. Live and learn eh.
The food here is fantastic, the service is top notch. Can’t wait to come back. Tom Yum soup is my favourite. And very reasonably priced.
Mixed platter starter followed by chef special sizzling steak. Delicious. Staff very friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere. Very clean. Highly recommend.
