maybe the best fish and chips we've ever had and we had a lot of fish and chips. incredible teig, homemade tartaric acid and curry sauces (both excellent) and excellent chips. fairly expensive but if they are good, they don't care to pay for quality. read more.

"Very friendly. Pete and his staff are really welcoming and friendly, would recommend stopping here if you are looking to explore Whitby and the surrounding area, situated about 6 miles from Whitby in Egton village. Food is all home made and uses locally sourced meats and vegetables, nice selection of drinks and a lovely atmosphere with open fire and friendly locals. The accommodation is also Dog friendly too and there is a beer garden at the rear and benches at the front. Would definitely go back here"
