What User doesn't like about Station Tavern:
Just travelled a long way and went for a pint before checking into accommodation, had the nerve to want served to get a packet of crisps and bag of nuts, he could not have been more irritated I interrupted his 4th fag break in 20 minutes, needs another Landlord that knows what customer service is, we never went back . Pete and his staff are really welcoming and friendly, would recommend stopping here if you are looking to explore Whitby and the surrounding area, situated about 6 miles from Whitby in Egton village. Food is all home made and uses locally sourced meats and vegetables, nice selection of drinks and a lovely atmosphere with open fire and friendly locals. The accommodation is also Dog friendly too and there is a beer garden at the rear and benches at the front. Would definitely go back here"
