Friendly staff and excellent food at a fair price. Booked to ensure we had a table as can get busy especially in the restaurant. Dog friendly in the bar area. Would visit again if in the area View all feedback.
What TCSC60 doesn't like about The Anvil Inn:
Excellent food, and situation normally would merit 5 stars, but the evening was completely spoilt by the chef having a Gordon Ramsey tirade, F-ing and Blinding against a young member of staff, in the kitchen clearly audible not only in the restaurant but outside in the garden. Such a shame, that our evening was spoilt in this manner. Ramsey belongs on the tele, not in real life. View all feedback.
