Simple artisan pub, British menu and everything well. when they stay overnight, they will get the most quiet space, as machines humiliate and keep them awake. friendly staff and fast service, we visit whenever over scarborough to the more nice sharing over north.

Perfect find. Very friendly and welcoming. Excellent food both breakfast and evening. Also dog friendly inside so that's a huge bonus as our dogs go everywhere with us.

This was overnighter in whitby . Staff were ery helpful.Rooms were clean and comfortable.We ate in restaurant.The fish and chips were lovely.we were starvingafter walk from whitby to Ravenscar on Cleveland way. We needed a early start the next day for next leg. The staff facilitated this breakfast at eight and then our way. Thanks to the chef for a love,y breakfast and evening meal.lovely stayover. A nice friendly county pub that can get busy at times. The location is good and there is a decent car park. Food drinks: We visited some friends in the village and decided (late Sunday afternoon) to visit the Oakwheel for some food. The table was good and the service was also good. We all enjoyed our food with one exception. I had a roast pork dinner which was very nice except for the Jus which was very salty and stopped me from finishing my meal. That aside, we all agreed we would return at some stage in the future to try more of the menu.
