I had a bowl with brain from her summer menu and it was delicious! except that they have a risotto and the salads also seem to be vegan! allergens are clearly marked. the staff is also very friendly! so happy to find good vegan food in traditional Bavarian restaurants! View all feedback.
General Today was the day of arrival for our one-week holiday at Lake Königssee, where we had a sister of my wife with her husband in the car. Despite Sunday, the highway was breaking through high traffic. Some traffic jams for various construction sites put our patience on a hard test. Nearly seven hours before we reached our headquarters in the early afternoon. And that for 521 km. Be it. After the women on the café terrace of our hotel first took a oatl coffee with a nice piece of cake and the gentlemen had their first cold yeast wheat standing in front of them, the feeling stress was quickly forgotten. Since the hotel offers only the public café and a bread-time snack until 7 p.m., small meals should be eaten out every evening. After consultation with the head of the house, she recommended three restaurants at a maximum of 5 minutes. Among them also the green stone marshes. This was listed by the estimated user colleague Schwalmwellis on GG in Berchtesgaden, but is in Schönau. Due to his good experiences in the house and the recommendation of our tribal hairdresser in the hometown as well as an ADAC staff who in the time of picking up some documents for the Königssee area from the Grünsteinstüberl, as their husband had supposedly eaten the best piece of meat of his life there, I convinced my three companions that we will arrive there in the evening. Front front with side beer garden service When walking into the small secluded goose, everything looked promising, except for the color of the sky. Dark clouds stormed behind and above the surrounding mountains. This circumstance ensured that we did not take place in the beautiful beer garden, but went inside. It looked like a rump chamber. Somehow they must have had a bigger event on the eve. We perforated all the existing small rooms after a little bit. One of the services followed us and asked for us not to choose the rearmost guestroom so that they don't have to walk so far. But they had to do that shortly after that, because a veritable rain casting made sure that all beer garden guests flowed inward. After searching for a small 4-stable for us, the young, destined local service in the fleeting Dirndl came to the table, greeted us kindly, gave everyone the menu in the hand and also asked how it should be different, according to our drinks request. Since some pages had to be browsed and the brother-in-law would like to know what the beer costs, we asked for a few minutes of patience. They were granted to us with a friendly “even”. After some time we ordered our drinks. While we waited for it, we were able to search the menu for food. When the well-cooled beverages came to the table, the ladies were given their wine (Blue Zweigelt, 0.25 l, 4.20 € from a carafe into the glass. The beer for the gentlemen was a well tapped light (0.5 l, 3.30 €. A friendly “too well” sounded out of their throat. Now the food wishes could be accepted. She took care of our well-being. All dishes were served at the same time, good appetite was desired and also demand, whether it tasted. Beverage retrieval requests were asked and also promptly implemented. Other services that went past our table also asked if everything is okay. The bill was presented with a proper bona fide and paid separately at our request to each pair. Usually four GG stars would be distributed by me. Unfortunately, there was then a reason to make a small deduction when eating. So GG 3.5 Stars Food After I had already been looking forward to a really good pig roast in advance, the order was easy for me. In the map there was a coarse pig roast with semmelknödel and herb salad (12.90 €). But not in dark beer sauce, as it is to be seen on the Internet, but sneaked in its own juice. What I actually found very good. Sweetheart and brother-in-law, too. So we ordered all three of this court. When it was served, we weren't surprised, and the eyes were shining. Two big, thick slices of meat, two big semmelknödel, with each one a piece of rind on it. General tenor: heart, what do you want more. Unfortunately, the meat could not confirm the visual impression. More than half was too tough and dry, hardly chewing. The piece of Schwarte was only crooked with treasure, with me and the brother-in-law labbrig. The thin natural juice could not really create a great taste, but was still okay. Okay to good, we felt the pre-served herb salad. We comforted that we had not packed the big portion and ate only the chewable and thus edible meat. When our service once again asked if everything is in order, I complained about the condition of the meat. An axle lick according to the motto had bad luck and one: “I give it to the kitchen” was the reaction. Return can no longer be answered, neither from her nor from the kitchen. My sister-in-law, who is not on pork roast, ordered the devil toast (8,90). A pork steak with sharp cocktail sauce, onions, pommes and salad set. The cocktail sauce drowned almost everything found on the plate. This was clearly too small for this portion. Since, apart from this sauce, one only got to see the pommes and a few salad leaves, I gave up a photo. So it looked really nix, but it tasted her. She had to find the meat under the sauce with the knife, which was a bit cumbersome. 2.5 GG stars for the food, as the pork roast was nix and the devil's toast lacked the optics for the eyes, which are well known. Ambience A rustic atmosphere, many more or less small guest rooms equipped with some Nippes, radiate something like coziness. Despite the many nibbles, there was nothing to complain about, even if one or the other carpet was already very worn out. The toilets are very small. To get in, a winding table had to be pushed aside first. In the event of a high guest appearance, waiting times may be feared here. Conclusion: Significantly under what we expected the many recommendations in advance of our holiday. Maybe we just have one

Many vegetarian dishes, to the regular card there is a seasonal summer card that offers further vegan and vegetarian options. Salads are very large, well dressed. all dives are very good. we have tried 6 vegetarian or vegan dishes, all right. there are also suppen and salate.
Delicious and defensive kitchen. Well visited. We only got a table at the third attempt, so better reserve it. The service is on zack, very friendly and attentive. The prices are normal and the portions are sufficient. We like to come back:
