Ein Besuch lohnt sich. Wir sind nur durch eine Umleitung des Wanderwegs hierhergekommen. Ehrlich gesagt haben wir uns gefragt, ob die Umleitung extra dazu eingerichtet wurde, damit man an der Hütte vorbeikommt ;) Der Service war sehr nett und nicht zu langsam. Als fünfköpfige Familie haben wir in der Gaststätte gegessen. Das Essen ist unterdurchschnittlich. Vermutlich wurde das Essen überwiegend aus vorgefertigten Bestandteilen, ähnlich einer Kantine erstellt. Die Qualität kommt zumindest über die Qualität nicht hinaus.Der Preis ist überdurchschnittlich hoch. Die Portion ist üblich.Der Pächter ist unfreundlich und lässt jegliches Benehmen vermissen. "Since we were staying in Schwangau, we looked for restaurants and found this one. Turns out the food was wonderful, and we loved the outdoor dining area. Had a pork shank that was probably the best I’ve ever had and the price was more than...reasonable. We liked it so much we went back there 2 nights later. Although it was pouring rain, they had part of the outside seating under covers, so we sat outside again. The food was still outstanding."
