"Since we were staying in Schwangau, we looked for restaurants and found this one. Turns out the food was wonderful, and we loved the outdoor dining area. Had a pork shank that was probably the best I’ve ever had and the price was more than...reasonable. We liked it so much we went back there 2 nights later. Although it was pouring rain, they had part of the outside seating under covers, so we sat outside again. The food was still outstanding."

"We stayed for 7 days at the hotel. It was quite an experience. The place is large but relatively basic by European hotel standards.It is more like a bed and breakfast place that you find in the UK. It is more like a bed and breakfast place that you find in the UK. We had rooms which are furnished in what can only be described as eclectic manner. We had an awful pastel mural covering one wall of the local scenery and fake Greek plinths as a TV stand. The rooms have separate WC and bathroom that has a shower and no bath. We did have spectacular view of the mountains and castles especially at night when one is lit up. The breakfasts were superb but the main meals tended to be very similar. The vegetarian food was not good and the meat eaters said that theirs was not much better. There is a much better eating venue across the road at a local tavern. The hotel does offer free use of bikes which is excellent for touring local sites. One aspect that disappointed me slightly was that from the brochure it appears that this place is located in the countryside. It is not. It is in the middle of village which must be said is charming. ms which are furnished in what can oly be described as ecletic"

"I did enjoy my meal very much in the comfort of this very nice restaurant. The menu was extensive and the waiters friendly and attentive. Sometimes they also offer a buffet, but I chose the a la carte menu and was pleased with my meal and the service. The menu also offers many snack meals and you will receive the same service as those ordering one, two or three course meals.This is not an expensive restaurant even though it is part of a very good and popular hotel. Bar prices were also reasonable."

"I picked this restaurant based on TripAdvisor and it didn't disappoint. The staff and owners are amazing people! We had an experience like none other on this trip. We had amazing food from the menu and had the opportunity to taste some food from Calabria...(a region of italy) which wasn't on the menu, it was a private stash from the owner. We also had a wine from Calabria that was to die for, who knew. We would go back tomorrow, but they closed. If you want great food, great experience....this is a MUST!!! Thank you to everyone that works there. You made this a memory we will not forget."

"Tchibo sales point is no longer present. Still delicious coffee, excellent pastry, and extremely friendly staff in bakery and café. In September 2017, E.E.A. is changing. The cafe share comes, like bakery store, on the ground floor. Then everyone can enjoy the delicious delicious delicious deliciousness of Knittel! Don't get all smoked up!"
