"Stayed at the hotel / guest house for four nights and only discovered the talents of the owners (a Chef) on the last night. Daniel makes his own cured meats, locally caught venison, and uses extensive local produce in his cooking. We had a dinner for five which was a mini-degustation menu, with lots of little extras and surprises. The warmth and friendliness of the venue mixed with innovative and exciting food were a real treat."

"Who would expect an Asian Restaurant in a very traditional town like Schwyz? Probably nobody... The ASIA RATSKELLER is the big surprise: Very tasty food (Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese) in a very cozy place at reasonable prices! We eat there frequently and are always very satisfied. The owner Mr. Wu and his staff are always very friendly. Definitely a place to go! Advice: Make a reservation they are booked out, frequently (especially for dinner)!"

"Just stopped here for a coffee break here recently. Very friendly staff and great service. Very welcoming also of international guests. Very nice terrasse with great view on the lake on a sunny day. The food menu looked decent, will go and try next time."

"Das Horseshoe bzw. Schöntal ist eines der besten Restaurants, welches wir im Kanton Schwyz haben. Es handelt sich hierbei um "gut bäuerliche Küche". Das Restaurant Schöntal wurde sehr schön renoviert, es ist sehr gemütlich und authentisch. Die Cordon Bleus sind super fein, ein Geheimtipp ist jedoch das Fleisch auf dem heissen Stein *lecker*. Nach einem feinen Essen kann man dann in der Raucherbar nebenan noch einen Schlummi nehmen. Oben hat es noch tolle Sääle für spezielle Anlässe. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall immer wieder!!"
