Walking in the screened front door of Doe’s Eat Place, we immediately assumed we had made a mistake – we were standing in the kitchen, right next to the grill. We asked and they waved us through to the second kitchen – where the salads, toast and fries were made – and a lady asked if we had a reservation."

"Old Miss is one of those places you enjoy every time. The food if fresh and well prepared, and the staff is courteous. You?ll do yourself a favor by calling your order in because every item on the menu is cooked to order. Nice and clean dining area and the koi fish aquarium is a nice touch. I usually order the fish or chicken but the crawfish is just as good!"

"Stop in Scott, the home of Delta and Pine Land, now Bayer. In the old Napa Auto Parts, there is 5 O'Clock on Deer Creek. A great spot for the BIG Bubba beef!!! Not sure if the museum's hours and Bubba's hours will overlap, but it is a neat history of Deltapine which used to even have their own beef line. BYOB except he does have beer. Seriously, make it part of your visit, or a part of your life. Val will take real good care of you too. Food: 5"
