"We took a Sunday drive to Breaux Bridge and had brunch at Cafe Sydnie Mae’s. The food service was excellent (but the bread pudding was fantastic)! When leaving we had car trouble and needed to go to the auto part store down the street. The owner, David offered to bring my husband their and back and assisted with the repairs. It was a genuine act of kindness and southern hospitality and it was much appreciated! It was our first trip there but it certainly won’t be our last!"

"No shortcuts. They have friendly staff, and fast service. Food has generous portions. Better than a lot of more expensive restaurants in New Orleans. Po? Boy?s bread is nice and soft. Salad was very fresh."

"This is the place for salted Pork Cracklins if you are traveling on I-10 from TX through Scott LA. The skin portion is nicely crunchy. The remainder has a nice blend of fatty, and meaty! Perfect combo. They are expensive at 23.99 a pound, but they are sure worth it as a treat every few months."
